VICTORIA FALLS The trail for Victoria falls, probably the most impressive falls on the island, begins in the village of Delices, which is a forty minute drive south of Rosalie Forest ecolodge
. The day begins at the white river, and after meeting the 'guardian' of the falls, a super friendly rasta priest named Moses, you will begin the hour long river hike into the forest to your destination.You will not be disappointed.
When you get back, your fresh ital lunch will have been prepared by Moses and ready to eat. |

SOUTHERN DOMINICA GRAND BAY AND PETITE SAVANNE
- After lunch we head over the steepest road on the island, and southern town Grand Bay, better known locally as 'South City', and the nearby village of Petite Savanne

- first we visit The Coal Pot Factory, a small business established by a local entrepeneur with the help of a Peace Corps volunteer. They provide the locally made organic soaps which are complimentary in the rooms here at the lodge, and a variety of essential oils.
- And finish the day visiting the community shared Bay Oil factory, a small place available for all to use. Local producers leave some oil to pay for the use of the factory.
- Then head back to the lodge for a well earned rest
