We understand that even though some of our guests may be on a tight budget, they still want to get the Full Dominica Experienece.

With our exciting 1 week shoestring island tour, you will get a real taste of Dominica without spending a fortune.

Accommodation is included either in our mixed shared dormitory, or in a tent if you prefer privacy.

(For an additional fee you may upgrade to one of our cottages or tree houses.)

all excursions are included, most are done either on foot, or on local buses, giving you an extra opportunity to get to know a whole range of local characters and customs.

This 7 night package will follow this itinerary :

• Day 1 : Arrival and transfer to Rosalie Forest.
• Day 2 : THE HOME HIKING TOUR (click here for more details)
• 3 Rivers Falls
• Flocky's Falls
• Coco Cascades
• Day 3 : THE BUDGET RUM AND ESSENTIAL OILS TOUR (click here for more details)
• This tour sets off nice and early. You leave with your guide, on the local bus, heading for the southern town Grand Bay, better known locally as 'South City', and the nearby village of Petite Savanne
• Visit a traditional old rum factory, still using pure sugar cane in the old fashioned way
• Then visit The Coal Pot Factory, a small business established by a local entrepeneur with the help of a Peace Corps volunteer. They provide the locally made organic soaps which are complimentary in the rooms here at the lodge, and a variety of essential oils.
• Take a break for lunch.
• And finish the day visiting the community shared Bay Oil factory, a small place available for all to use. Local producers leave some oil to pay for the use of the factory.
• Then head back to the lodge with your guide on the bus.
• Day 4 : Free Day
• Day 5 :THE BUDGET SOUTH WEST TOUR (click here for more details)
• This tour sets off nice and early. You leave with your guide, on the local bus, heading for the south west fishing village of Scott's Head, and the nearby village of Petite Savanne
• Walk the peninsular at Scott's Head, where the Atalantic and Caribbean clash together. Climb the small peak for some stunning views
• And bathe in the Ocean and/or snorkel among some incredible reefs
• A short hitch with your guide will take you a little up the coast to Soufriere, and some natural hot springs.
• Then go down to the Champaigne Beach, and snorkel in the Sea, on top of a volcano among Champaigne like bubbles and a party of sea life.
• Then head back to the lodge with your guide on the bus.
• With a brief stop at he Roseau Craft market on the way home.
• Day 6 :THE BUDGET NORTH WEST TOUR (click here for more details)
• A morning bus ride with your guide to the north west of the island, and Dominica's second town of Portsmouth.
• A gentle row boat ride up the Indian River : Objective - sample the Fynamite Rum Punch!
• An afternnon stroll around the Cabritz National park and Fort Shirley. See the restored fort, and walk amongst some ancient ruins.
• Day 7 : Free Day
• Day 8 : Depart for airport / ferry terminal

The activities may be spread over a longer period of time to give you more free time in between activities. We are also happy to tailor make any adventure package specifically to your requirements.
