Our restaurant and bar offers meals all day, to order.

Steve and Petrolina's restaurant is located right here at the lodge. You can order a delicious home cooked meals cooked by a family from the village as part of our community development programme.

They serve fresh home cooked meals with many local ingredients, and offer and friendly and tasty service.

All meals MUST be ordered in advance to be guaranteed.

Steve and his wife Petrolina, come to the lodge when there are orders, so if you do not order you may be unlucky.

The restaurant is next to the reception area and the river, so you may sit and enjoy our friendly service and a cool drink with your meal, or you can sit by the river, or take it to your room, or anywhere else of your choosing.

We just ask that you consider your litter when you are finshed, if you leave the restaurant area.

Alternatively, you may wish to prepare the picnic yourself either in your cottage, the communal kitchen, or over a fire in the picnic spot of your choice.

All we ask is that you collect your litter when you have finished.

  1. Cook your own meal in your private kitchen if you have one, or the comunal jungle kitchen, there are a few stores in the nearby villages where you can buy basic provisions, transport can be arranged for a small fee - on foot is possible
  2. Viisit one of two local restaurants - transport can be arranged for a small fee - on foot is possible
  3. Some fresh produce from our own gardens is available in season from reception
