To accommodate those in need, in all aspects of life and existence through its multi faceted approach. The organization intends to create divers avenues to increase employment and capacity building opportunities thereby allowing persons to develop and commercialize their skills, ideas and talents in constructive and financially feasible ways.
A critical module of the organizations objective is the promotion, preservation and incorporation of culture and art through various social activities, publications, trainings investments and youth operated projects.
Through events such as traditional dance shows, art exhibitions, production of documentaries on significant historical events, music production, regular cultural gatherings and similar events, the organization intends to inculcate a deep cultural appreciation, dignity and national pride in the hearts of the younger generation.
A wealth of potential exists, crystallized in the diverse range of individuals of our younger generation. Conventional education systems fail to discover and harness these talents for the benefit of country and individual. In an attempt to awaken these latent gifts, the Grand Masters Inc creates diverse avenues whereby young persons can develop and showcase these unique skills, gaining confidence, content and self-assurance, hence contributing to a more holistic development of our society.Through a number of community focused initiatives the organization endeavors to reinstitute a once dominant spirit of oneness, peace and brotherhood into the villages of Dominica, incorporating the knowledge, skills and creativity of our ancient community folks.
The organization vows to provide exciting, constructive and clean informative entertainment for the deserving people of Dominica.Very little programming exist on our local television stations that educate youth about the proud heritage of the country. An insufficient effort is being made to produce material whereby young adults can experience the rich antiquity and magnificence of our local culture. Moreover, oftentimes the older generations criticize young people for mimicking or adopting foreign culture and habits, when in reality it is the lack of appeal and conscious effort to captivate young minds and inculcate this deep appreciation for their national culture that is underlying. In an effort to address this lack of local influence, the Grand Masters Inc. intends to create a number of regular, ongoing programs that will highlight the achievements of significant Dominicans, review our colorful history and educate persons on matters affecting the local and global community. Using a series of talk shows, short documentaries, interactive game shows, informative youth programs and a number of musical productions the Grand Masters Inc will seek to make our culture the “new wave”.
A number of home grown artist have strived and prospered internationally, gaining good repute and recognition for Dominica such as; Midnight Groovers (chubby), Nasio Fontaine, Swinging Stars and many other national artists, it is of a fact that thousands more have the potential to do just that or even achieve greater feats than that of these current ambassadors of our country.
Aware of this suffocated potential, the organization intends to create opportunities for gifted and interested persons to pursue their aspirations and do something constructive with their precious lives. Establishing a studio will be an essential pre- requisite for the fulfillment of this objective. A quality studio where youth can compose and record their music, giving them a positive alternative to street side loathing and malignant behavior, this is a main priority for the organization. Qualified artists will also be sponsored and promoted by the organization, ensuring his/her success and continued advancement.Accomplishments:
