As you must be aware of by now, Dominica has an incredibly large number of rivers for such a small island.
Dominica is one of the top diving destinations in the world and so diving or snorkeling are definitely the best ways to appreciate the full glory of our waters. At night, the Dominica calm caribbean waters are home to a frenzy of nocturnal activity ; a night of diving is another experience altogether !
Alternatively, you could always wander off with your snorkel and mask to a secluded beach, or any of Dominica's 365 rivers and experience the underwater world at your leisure, for free ! If you don't want to wander too far, the rivers around the lodge make for excellent snorkeling too.
Full professional PADI diving courses are available, at all levels, with qualified instructors, using modern, well-maintained equipment. Please contact us for more details. For a taste of what the sea has to offer, a fun dive for beginners is a good option. You will have a qualified instructor with you at all times.
For the more serious divers, complete diving packages are available, including full board at Rosalie Forest eco Lodge, with transport, all courses and equipment included. We work closely with an excellent dive centre in Salisbury, who offer special rates to our guests.
