' Gomiere Lodge is a great little forest lodge, hidden in the jungle. Nestled in the heart of the rain forest in the mountains, offers simplicity in total seclusion.
Gomiere Lodge is simple and comfortable. To reach the house is about a 15 minute uphill hike deep into the Caribbean jungle!
The jungle lodge has a double bed, and storage shelves. There is an electric light powered by a small wind turbine which we have installed above the rainforest canopy.
The only life around you is the wildlife. The lodge is built with boards from a fallen Gomiere (gum) tree. Deep in the forest, bugs are unavoidable, so a net is provided. But rest assured, although you will get the incredible opportunity to see plenty of insects and bugs of all shapes sizes and colours, there is absolutley nothing that can really do you harm.
